Job Posting: Senior Accountant
About the Role:
Ute Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage key financial processes, including reconciliations, payroll, accounts receivable, and vendor payments. If you thrive in a fast-paced finance environment and are passionate about accuracy and efficiency, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
· Reconcile daily and monthly cash accounts
· Process and track accounts receivable balances and deposits
· Manage vendor payments, including ACH transactions and check processing
· Oversee payroll file processing and ensure timely submissions
· Maintain and reconcile fixed assets and inventory records
· Ensure vendor compliance, including W-9 collection and record maintenance
· Optimize accounts payable and receivable processes for improved cash flow
What We’re Looking For:
Strong knowledge of financial reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
5+ years of accounting experience (preferably in the energy sector)
Master’s degree or CPA license preferred but not required
